    Where is it
Where on the unit would I find the capacitor. Hvacservicetech_7 told me to check it. Would it be a device that drives the motor/blower to start up and to continue to move. Could it look like a cylinder mounted to the squirel cage housing with two wires coming off it connecting to the motor?

A capacitor occasionally referrd 2 using an old term condenser is a device that stores energy in the eletric field created between a pair of conductors on witch equal but opposite eletric chages have been placed .intentional capacitors have thin conducting plates usually made of metal stacked or rolled to form a compact device ,but every multy conductor geometry has capacitance a device that stores electrical charges.a device for storing eletrical charge

It's usually oval or round and is usually attached to or near the squirrel cage blower. Normally they are silver colored and have terminals on the top with two or three wires. Be real careful, they store electricity. If you plan on removing it, turn off the power to the unit, use a insulated screw driver and touch the blade of the screw driver to both the terminal and the metal case of the capacitor at the same time.
