    Backup
I have Server Dell 4400 power edge OS: NT 4 Server with Service Pack 6
    Tape Drive: Compaq DLT7000 External
    Backup Software: Arc Serve 2000

When I take the backup, it starts successfully and after finishing the
First tape it asks for the second tape to continue, when we insert second
Tape. After a while, it gives me hardware error. And fails the backup. I
    Have following different error numbers.

E6300 WIN NT SCSI Port Error

    Backup
    Hi:

I know nothing about tape back-ups, or Arc Serve, but I did a search on Google and found the following discussions of problems, similar to yours.

    [list]ARC Serve document
Tek Tips - Arc Serve discussion
Computer Associates-Technical Support (they manufacture ARC Serve)

Hopefully, this will be of some help.
