    Child abandonment
    What is the time frame for an abandonment case can be started? What is the criteria?

    Depends on the state. There really isn't a lot of solid information online about the criteria. You really need to ask a lawyer to find out if your case specifically qualifies. Most lawyers will give you free consults, even over the phone. You ask just what you asked here and say you are trying to find out if you have cause to go to court for it.

    For most states-from 6 moths to 1 year... but there are a lot of other circumstances,too.
