    Depo shot
I have been on and off the depo shot for the last 2 years. I am 34 years old and we really want to get pregnant. I know age has a factor along with being on the shot. I am going to see the ob Dr. Is there anything you can take to speed up the process?

What process are you speaking of? The meds wearing off or just getting pregnant?

Just a faster way to get pregnant maybe meds to take. I know how the depo shot works as far as my body goes. I have only had maybe one shot in the last year. I don't get them all the time due to the cost of them. I was thinking that there has to be some way of conceiving sooner than a year? Any Ideas?

It could happen sooner than a year. But it isn't guaranteed. I have always been a believer that depo does some strange things to a woman's body. Your doctor could give you some ideas, but really there isn't a whole lot other than timing your cycle. Actually at your age, it may be a little easier, just because your body may start releasing more than one egg at a time.. so you could end up with twins... good luck.

Try charting your cervix and ovulation. Even your cervical fluid will help you determine what day you most fertile. GOOD LUCK> you can find much info on the internet about ovulation and cervix.

That would be so great! I guess I'll just keep trying and hope for the best. Someone told me that at my age people shouldn't be having children. But, I am more financially set at this time.
