Hi looking to buy solar heating system for my above ground pool, which is the best and is it possible to run the piping from abour 30 ft away from the pool so as to get full sun all day andddddddd some companies state they have more tubes per ft is this really all that relevant

More tubes per foot equals more surface area facing the sun, in most cases. Some tubes are plentiful but small so they don't increas the surface by much. Try to compare their specs from their websites. 30 ft. should not be a problem but it is very important to get the collector propped at the correct angle based on you location. In northern Illinois it should face south and be about 15 degrees short of flat.

Hi, Thank you for your reply, so anything from 10 degrees angle to 30 degrees, also I read somewhere about someone putting it directly lying flat on the ground is this wise also
Im assuming painting the backboard which will be supporting it black is a good thing anddddddd also what about putting glass on top of it to give it more heat more quick

I also wanted to do that. I checked with leslie pool and they have a system you can purchase. Or you can make a system. Using your pool pump will circulate the water and should heat your pool. You could also have a fitting that would re-route the water to say a large radiator with a fan, so you could cool your house in the summer or close up to summer months. I live in Arizona and in the summer a 400 to 600 is not uncommon for cooling here.
