    H1B Married filing
    Hi There

I worked on H1B visa in 2006. I got married on Dec 10th of 2006. Can I file my taxes as married? And also which form should I file 1040 or 1040NR EZ?

Thank you in advance for your expert help.

    Regards

Yes, you CAN file Married Filing Jointly and you BOTH choose to be treated as resident aliens. However, in oding so, you must claim ALL worldwide income in 2006.

If you file this way, you file Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ.
