    Injury Lawyer reporting medicaire clients
Well, the injury lawyer is saying that the government has an automatic lien on any settlement if the claimant has medicare, and he or she used it to pay for any of the accident injuries. I want to know if the lawyer is liable to report to medicare, which he did already, that his client has used mediare to pay for his injuries if so, where is this information?

Sun, rather than start a new thread please add this one to your original post. It will give continuity to the story. If medicad pay a hospital bill and someone later gets medical expenses paid by insurance, medicad is supposed to get their money back. You can't double dip with the feds.
