Hi All!
My question is very simple... Could anybody tell me how can I find friends from Europe in I-net? I am from Russia... Is it no trouble? ICQ ***REMOVED***

Well, there are lots of people from Europe here! Hopefully some of them will have ICQ and will be able to contact you!

May be yes, but may be no.
It seems to me that europeans are more closed then I thought before... I always thought it's easy to meet foreign friend for frienship cause we could have very different points of view and it's great to discuss many things in our life.

I didn't know that England differs from Europe so much... But the English seem quite handsome and nice people... Or I'm wrong?

I am both handsome and nice! :p

England is somewhat separated from Europe, due to the channel, not taking up the Euro, etc.. We often say "Europe" to mean the mainland of the continent.

I am not from Europe, I am from the US, but my hubby is Russian.

Oi! I didn't see where you're from:)
Do you suppose the European say "Europe" don't include England?
May I ask a question about Russia? It' s not Europe too or yet? Or is this country standalone at all?

I think Russia is in Asia.

I don't know whether Europeans would include England in Europe when they say it.

I am European and I don't know in what country you live... but European are quite spread over the world...

I moved to the USA and live in LA.
A huge city.
Where everybody is always in a hurry and in their car.
Because in LA one does not get anywhere without a car :)
And it's hard to make friends.
That is for sure.

I am working with Europeans, so I consider myself lucky that I can still speak my own language (which was starting to sound quite rusty after not speaking it for 1,5 year... ) and I have some American friends.

I embrace different cultures... they show me a lot about the differences between people which can be fascinating and meaningful.

However, sometimes it is just nice to feel "at home" with Europeans... I know what you mean.

By the way... LA has a lot of Russians!!

Unfortunately, Moscow is a typical european city... A part of Russia - is in Asia, it's a true, but not completely.

I don't think, that it's a good tendency and wrong point of view. From ancient time Britain and Europe are united and history of Europe isn't complete without England. It's my In my opinion.

By the way... Capuchin, is it your opinion about Europeans or do you come to a conclusion by empirical way?

I am from a very small Northern European country called The Netherlands :)
No, I don't regret leaving.
Mind you... I am a true gypsy.
I have not lived in my own country for a couple of years... lived in Africa and South America and now "settled" down in the USA.

Which was not the country of my choice.
I was on holiday, fell in love and the rest is history...

And it does feel more like home now, but I think that especially living in this city can make it harder... it does take a lot more time to make friends.
But... :) I am getting there.

And I love the weather... I really do, so I am privileged in that respect.

It's my impression of the opinion of most brits... I don't think there's any need to ask Europeans, since it's a British opinion? :P

But what if this opinion is wrong? ;) May be, they are smooth and fluffy and like brits and don't separate England from Europe?:)

Perhaps it's a flud, but one help to enter into relations, I think? Do you mind?
