My girlfriend and I split up just over 3 weeks ago, her reason being is she don't want a relationship and wants to be single for a while as before me she was with someone for 3 years. We were together just under a year, I no she has being going to see her mates boyfriend but I have recetly found out my ex is seeing someone too and are going out with each other? What am I meant to think when she told me she did not want a boyfriend? My head feels really messed up , I am finding it hard to let her go as I still love her. Should I say something to her? Do you think this new person could be a rebound? Please someone help me. Thank you

Well, she already made up her mind. She doesn't want to be with you, that's why! Maybe you still love her but look, do you want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you? Think about it!

Imnotok is right. The reason why she is 2 faced, lied to you is because she doesn't want to be with you. Sorry but that's the truth. She's using you as a backup so her feelings won't get crushed. Those people are cowards.

And you shouldn't shed a tear because of her.

You see she is using you so if she get's hurt by her new boyfriend she still has you. Now that is not worth living for. Life is there to take risks.

I am surprised you still love her but I am sorry there are girls like that you just can't resist and you just got to stop loving her and find a new one

I completely agree. It's the typical answer: I NEED SPACE... I NEED TIME... I NEED TO THINK ABOUT THIS.. and some girls will take it further like MAYBE IN A MONTH OR TWO, WE CAN TALK ABOUT GETTING BACK TOGETHER...

... don't fall into it. Make it a clean break. Do your own thing for a little bit.

Hi Will, Chalk it up to experience and learn a valuable lesson, There are liars and cheaters everywhere. When you come out of denial, you will be hurt and angry, that's normal. Don't be bitter, but do move on, and never contact her again. What do you want more lies?

I agree. I do think there are honest people out there who do need the space they ask for. But I also know that for the people who can't communicate or don't want to face the reality of them mistreating you they cop out by making u the bad guy. Giving you mixed signals and snapping when u are confused and ask questions. You deserve better. Good Luck!
