First be sure you are timing sex around ovulation, it's surprising how many women don't know their own cycles, or when they ovulate, so I suggest reading some books and becoming an expert on your own body.

You may want to ask your gynecologist if there are any basic tests he/she can run so you don't have to pay a fertility specialist right away. You can get your hormone levels checked, for example. Also, a sperm analysis is easier, more quick, and less expensive than any tests women go through, so you could start with that to eliminate or verify male factor.

Technically, you shouldn't worry until after the 1 year mark.

Definitely don't start to worry until you pass your 12 month mark. Also depending on what(if any) form of birth control you were on, prior to trying to get pregnant, it could be expected to be a longer waiting period.

Eat right, work out, try and stay happy, healthy, and relaxed as much as possible. And I know this might osund weird, but after your partner "finishes" in you, lift your pelvis and legs as high as you can (try sitting upside down on the sofa with your head hanging over the end) for about 15-20 minutes after every time, it helps the sperm swim! And if after a year nothing has happened, see a DR.

Patience is the key here, If you do not have it then you will not get pregnant.

Some people normal healthy couples. About 85 percent of them it takes a good year to become pregnant. Some couples up to 2 years.

So Patience, relaxation and being stress free is very important if you truly want to have children.

    Best of luck.

Should Boeing and other companies go along with China's terms, or should they risk losing sales by refusing to transfer technology?

It can take most healthy couples up to a year to conceive.
You should visit your doctor however and get a pre-pregnancy workup, including bloodwork to check your hormones... also with you trying 7 months now, your husband could get checked too.

If your cycles are pretty regular, here is a site that will help you better determine your window for ovulation.
American Pregnancy Association : Getting Pregnant: Ovulation Calendar

Just relax and have fun trying :)
