    Need Help Urgently!!
My W2 indicates that I was deducted about $1000 for Social Security tax and madicare tax when I was working on CPT last year. Does anybody know how to get refund? Which forms I need to use and where to file the return? Thanks in advance!

    Irvin:

The process for claiming a refund is spelled out in IRS Pub 519 (page 45, I believe).

First, ask your employer for a refund. If he refuses, ask him to do so in writing and to detail how much you should get back (this statement has to be sent with the Form 843).

There are several forms required with the Form 843. You can get them all off the Internet. Fill them out and send in the packet to the address cited in IRS Pub 519.
