    Bank garnishment
    I had a judgement against me for a credit card debt I missed 2 payments and now they seized my bank account is that legal. They did't send me a notice that I missed 2.

    Hello perfect:

    If they have a judgment, it's legal. Did you not know they had a judgment? Were you not served papers about a lawsuit? If you weren't there's information here regarding how to go to court to have the judgment set aside. Look around under money and banking.

    Ok, why should they have to send you a notice you did not pay them, you know you did not pay them.

    To freeze and seize your bank account they will also already have a judgement in place. With the judgement, they can also garnish your chekcing accounts in many states.
