    What religion does this sound like?
    I have certain beliefs but I can't find other people that feel the same or find the name for it. Well, here is a list of them:

    1. There is something out there bigger than all of us. If you want to call it a god, then OK.

    2. I do enjoy some of the writings of the bible. I do not believe it is the word of God.

    3. All living things have a spirit that watches over them. There are good and bad spirits.

    4. I believe in use of spells for healing and protection, I however do not practice any spell casting. I prefer to leave that up to the professionals.

    6. I believe in reincarnation.

    These are not things I just grabbed from different religions and glued together. They are what I actually believe to be truth. Two of them just because of things that have happened to me in my life personally.

    I agree with Karma on the agnostic viewpoint, in addition to having elements of deism, buddhism, and wiccan teachings.

    I also agree with Karma. One thing you might like to try is going to a Unitarian Universalist church if there is one near you. There more than likely would be others there who hold the same beliefs that you do, and with whom you could speak and share your beliefs.

    Yes, you would fit into the Unitarian Universalists, IF of course you don't mind others having different beleifs, some may believe more of one thing, and others none of the others. But they are accepting of all basically relgious teachings

    Thank you guys. Now if only I can find a unitarian church. Its all baptist where I'm at.

    Since of course we are here to help, if you will tell us where you are at, we will be glad to try and search for one for you, I bet they are there, I am here in the bible belt of TN and they have churches in most towns around here, am in the middle of no where and they have three within 30 miles of me.

    Brahma Kumaris - believes in the soul, believes in power of meditation, power of both positive and negative thoughts, believes in karma and reincarnation, believes that we are all connected, sattvic diet, early morning meditations and discussions. Based Mt Abu, Rajastan, India but has many centres and retreats around the world.

    Sounds a bit old school pagan/wicca to me, have to say I have similar beliefs :) maybe we should start a religion :D (I'm not pagan or wicca by the way)
    If asked I say I'm Agnostic I believe in something but I don't know what it is, def not christianity though :)

    What you are describing is Gnosticism. There were many early Christians who believed in reincarnation. People all over the world of many religions use spells.

    I believe in all of those things and others, I've been called a universalist by a lot of people, if that helps any?
