Exotic, funky, and unique adult beverage ideas needed
    Hello everyone,
I've been nominated to handle the alcoholic beverages at an upcoming wedding.
The bride wants everything to be a little (well alot) on the unique side.
This is a beach wedding, so I was thinking a tiki bar set-up.
One request she had was for Red Sangria Punch. Thanks to Karma I'm using a recipe he provided for me.
I'm wanting to add more beverage choices for the guests, so does anyone have any good ideas?

I don't know what this is called, but my mom used to make it

    Orange juice
    Lemonaid
    Limeaid
    Vodka

    Freeze

Scoop out and pour some 7-up over

    Garnish with strawberries...

    Yummie for the summer

    What about something non alcaholic??

Freshly sqeezed orange juice with pomigranite juice trickled down the sides

Lots of amazing juices you can play about with if you have a juicer and either add the alcahol or serve them as normal hehehehe

I love orange juice and blue curcia it turns the orange green lol

There most definitely needs to be some cool, funky non alcoholic drinks too...
Everybody should be able to go to the tiki bar... :D

Love the idea of green orange juice!

I'll have to get with the girl that's doing the non alcoholic beverages to see if she'd be willing to work with me on this... I don't see why she wouldn't...

All drinks could be served up at the tiki bar... spiked or not...

Sounds great! Thankx for the idea!

    Great drink link Capunchin! Thanks!

CBW, The torches are a great idea! And so are the Jellys!

I found a tiki bar rental place that delivers and sets up:D
Some of them have built in coolers, ice beens, and such... which will probably be what I need so that we don't have a ton of coolers sitting around.

    I appreciate everyone's help on this:D

    I'm excited about it now!
At first I was terrified that such a big responsibility was left to me - LOL
I love that the tiki bar rental place delivers and sets up - that a big relief.
Now, I have to learn how to bar tend and get a few people to do it with me:D

OOOOOOO I wish I were near id help I used to run a pub it was a fab job but crazy.
Just go with the flow and enjoy it, when we used to do the vodka jellys for special occasions we used to buy those tiny little tasting cups they were little plastic shot glasses I used to just make the jelly up with vodka instead of water a few of those and you knew about it but they were great fun and had to be swollowed in one lol that way you only get the fruity aftertaste and not the vodka burn giggle.

So this is where everyone is!! Hanging out on the Tiki bar thread :)

Well, this may be boring compared to the great recommendations above, but my favorite summer drink is... Sea Breeze.

    Vodka
    Cranberry Juice
    Grapefruit Juice

I always ask the waitress for more cranberry than anything, a bit of a light weight. But that vodka can sneak up on you.

But it is a Fantastic summer drink.

Ak, I know you will do great. Pictures are a must!

Jello shooters is what they were called when I was a teen (oops did I say teen - I meant when I was 21)
    I loved those things...
It will be a simple thing to serve too because I can make them in the little shot glasses in advance... :D

And one of my favorite drinks is the Sea Breeze - although I had no idea what it was called.
Seems like a good one to have on a beach:D

Yup Seabreeze, and then there is one very close like it called Baybreeze, but I can't remember what is different about the baybreeze. Oh yeah, I think instead of the grapefruit, the use orange juice. Not 100% sure.

Thanks to all the great drink links I've gotten, the bay breeze has pineapple juice instead.
    Sounds good too...
