Well that is not the official sentence . But it might as well be. He is a frail old man . You know ;the kind that Prosecutor Hur would call as having a sympathetic ear from a jury . That is unless the jury was one empaneled in DC.

Navarro was in the Trump camp since the 2016 campaign . In Trump's administration he served mostly in trade related positions. After covid ;he was tasked to coordinate the fast track of the vaccine. He was a frequent critic of Clueless Joe's covid response.

After the 2020 campaign he was part of the campaign to change the election results and to make the case that there had been election fraud.

Then the January 6 riot happened.

February 9,2022 the Kangaroo Court subpoenaed him to testify and to provide documents . He complied with neither claiming that Trump was asserting executive privilege (something Trump could not do since he was no longer President) .
He was given contempt of Congress charges for his refusals.

A Grand Jury was convened in June 2022 and he was indicted . Instead of giving him the opportunity to surrender ;the US Marshals Office grabbed him in a publicized arrest as he was boarding a plane......cuffed and shackled as if he were an ax murderer .

March of last year he was convicted and ordered to serve 4 months in jail .

His emergency appeal to stay out of jail pending appeal made it to SCOTUS .

In an extremely swift decision ;Chief Justice Roberts handled it on his own . He denied Navarro's request .
