    Independent Contractor and benefits
I am interested in understanding the fringe benefits available to an independent contractor working on a long-term project in New York State.

I want to know if the contractor can access these benefits (health insurance, and paid sick and vacation days) through an agreement with the employer for a long-term job.

    Thank you.
