But it was a much longer conversation than what was cherry picked in that single sentence.
What did Trump REALLY say ?
He said that if the signatures in Fulton County were examined that he believed there were a couple hundred forged signatures .
He said that he believed there were 50,000 people who showed up to vote and were turned away because someone had already cast their vote.
He said that 4,502 people voted who were not on the voter rolls .
He said that there were 18,325 people who voted and did not have an address.
He said that there were 904 voters who only had post office box numbers as an address (not allowed in Georgia) .
He said that 18,000 votes collected by vote scammers and hustlers .
He said that suitcases of ballots were delivered to key districts after poll watchers and officials were sent home for the night .
He said that 2,326 absentee ballots were sent to vacant addresses .
He wanted these irregularities investigated .
Raffensperger disputed Trump's contentions a couple of times .
Trump said in response
"We just want the truth. It's simple. And everyone's going to look very good if the truth comes out. It's OK. It takes a little while but let the truth come out."
Clearly that was Trump trying to steal the election
