Make sure the option to "view hidden files" is enables in Control Panel>Folder Options>Advanced..

Now, do a search for the file and delete it when it is found..

    Show all files
    Hi,
The pathway another expert gave you to "show all files" does not exist for Win98SE.

    Try this:
    Go to Start/Programs/Windows Explorer.
Then, at the top, click on View, then click on Folder Options.
In that window, click on the View tab at top.
Left click (put a check mark by) "Show all Files".
    Click on Apply, then OK.
    Close Windows Explorer.
Then, go to Start/Find/Files or Folders.
In the space, type in the name, then click on Find Next.
    Delete the file.
    Best of luck,
    fredg
PS; You might have to put an * before and after the name, if you don't know the extension, like .exe , etc.
