You still have not seen the Mueller report, just AG Barr's opinion of it. The only thing from Mueller we know about was he could neither prosecute nor exculpate the dufus of obstruction. Celebrate the no collusion, for now at least, but the final authority belongs to the congress.

    We await Mueller's report... STILL!

I would say it is possible, but it's still a great question.

They haven't seen the details of the Mueller report, but it's their job to verify and review all action by the executive branch. That's their oversight responsibility by the law.

I thought this article was interesting. Here is the first paragraph:

"Special counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his report on the Russia investigation, and Republicans are gloating. They claim a four-page letter from Attorney General William Barr, purporting to summarize the report, exonerates President Donald Trump. They’re wrong. The letter says the Justice Department won’t prosecute Trump, but it reaches that conclusion by tailoring legal standards to protect the president. Here’s a list of Barr’s weasel words and what they’re hiding."

'The Dems are genuinely upset that the President did not collude with the Russians . Remember when the Dems said that reports couldn't be released because they had to protect methods and sources ? not so much now.
Remember when the Dems said the integrity of Inspector Mueller was unimpeachable ? Now they want to subpeoena him to testify . The only thing to discover now is how the intel about Trump 'colluding with the Russians' was so wrong.

Mueller decided NO FURTHER investigation on obstruction was warranted ; a decision made on the merits. DOJ agreed. That means he was FULLY exonerated..

"According to a new report from the New York Times, Mueller has farmed out federal indictments to 1) the SDNY, in Manhattan, 2) the EDNY, in Brooklyn, 3) the EDVA in Virginia, 4) the U.S. Attorney’s office in Los Angeles, 5) the U.S. Attorney’s office in Washington DC, 6) the DOJ National Security Division, and 7) the DOJ Criminal Division. So what is the take-away from all this? Those who are familiar with Mueller’s investigation understand that 'no more indictments from Mueller' doesn’t mean 'no more indictments.' It means every single one of Mueller’s existing indictments resides in a 'presidential pardon-proof' prosecutorial district. Recall how Mueller handed off the Cohen case to the U.S. Attorney's office for the SDNY, who sent Cohen to prison. As his own investigation ends, it becomes clear Mueller plans to handle all indictments/prosecutions resulting from his investigation through these seven federal prosecutorial entities. In other words, the people on Team Trump who are celebrating right now are merely suffering from a lack of understanding about the rule of law and how federal and state prosecutions work."

So it comes down to, "In two years I couldn't find any evidence, even with a practically unlimited budget and dozens of highly competent staff members, so maybe I can farm these out to other people who can keep this nonsense going on for two more years."

If Mueller, who was hardly a neutral party, could not bring charges for obstruction, then I'm convinced there is nothing there.

    'presidential pardon-proof' prosecutorial district.
wrong , only a state prosecution is pardon proof . Anything coming out of the district courts is a Federal matter . Yes Cohen's charges in NYS are pardon proof. Not that Trump would pardon him .That is why Cohen turned .

Talk about a dem party plan backfiring, Trump and the repubs have just been handed the best gift imaginable. Now to see if they know how to handle it. Will be equally interesting to see if the dems can regain their composure. One might hope they would abandon the hate Trump line and begin to simply look competent in trying to solve problems, but I doubt it. Unfortunate.

Welcome EKG, why are you amazed that the loony right wing noise machine is still around talking crazy stuff? That is what they do, and what they always have done, and show NO signs of changing now since their dufus keeps 'em well fed with the noise and lies they love most.

Yep. Thank goodness we have the well-reasoned, thoughtful input of the left led by deep thinkers such as AOC, Omar, Pelosi, Sanders, Harris, and Mr. Spartacus. And, of course, we have to admit that Fox News tends to represent the right as opposed to the fifty or so media outlets who represent the left.

I know you would rather make the left sound crazy because we are the mainstream thinking and the right is a small band of nutcases. You would have more TV and radio stations if you expanded a bit instead of just chasing each other around in a small circle.
