    Maytag Washer
I have a Maytag washer, It pumps the water in but it doesn't spin. It was working very well and it just happened today.
    What can be wrong?

    Thanks

Does it agitate? If it does not agitate or spin, you probably have a belt problem. The belt should be under the base of the washer.

First of all, the washer doesn't "pump" the water in, the mixer valve opens to let the water in. The problem if it doesn't pump out could be that there is something restricting the water from getting to the pump, like a small piece of clothing blocking the pump.
Maytags are not the ORIGINAL Maytags anymore in the last 10 years or so, unless you provide a model number, it is difficult to diagnose the problem.
