    What causes anal hemotobin's?
A few weeks ago my husband was diagnosed with an anal hemotoma. It was treated with anti-inflammatry's, anti-biotic's and painkillers. The lump decreased in size and became plainless. Now its back and he's in great pain. The doctor has perscribed anti-biotics again to try. What causes hematomas and how do we get rid of them for good?

Hemotobin? Are you sure you have that term correct? That term is not in any of my medical texts.

Sorry-the term is hematoma, a blood clot

There are many many different reasons for hematoma's. This is something that should be taken up with is doctor since the doc knows his history already.

Any other answer you get here will be pure speculation.

As for why, it could be a clotting disorder, but again his doctor is the only one that can diagnose that properly.

I do wonder though why he was given antibiotics. Antibiotics are for bacterial infections.

You really should discuss this in-depth with his doctor. Make a list of questions prior to going in to the office and do not leave until you understand everything. Remember the doctor is your employer and he should help you understand everything regarding this condition.
