    What is the difference between a 48 frame and 48Y frame in a motor
    Saw this motor Dayton 5K671C with a Frame 48Y
    While I was loooking for same but Frame 48 without the Y.
    What is the difference if any ?

    Google "NEMA motor frames". Frame numbers and modifiers has to do with dimensions. Could be bearing, shaft size, mount position-horizontal vs vertical and others. For example, a frame with a " c" is a different mount than a "y".
