    Recessed light bulbs
    Have 4" recessed lights with burn marks on them is gameroom - what can cause this?

    Where are the burn marks, bulb or housing? What wattage and type? Sounds like too much heat.

    Burn marks are on the bulb - 50 watts - Halogen light.
