    How do you replace a broken crank handle on a Southern Patio Offset Umbrella.
    I started to take out the bolt that holds the handle to see if I can find some kind of handle that would work but stopped as I was afraid the part that holds the cord would move and I would not be able to get it back in place in the pipe. Please advise how to replace the broken handle.

    See attached file for restringing instructions.

    Based on my interpenetration of instructions you should be able to remove two screws and pull out entire mechanism and rope.
