I want to buy this conditioner that work with 115v 60hz but the electricity in my country 220v 50hz so can I use a volt converter and is it safety?

Do yourself a favor and buy one built to run on 220v and 50hz.

#1... you aren't going to get something to change the line frequency...

#2... while you might get something beefy enough to change the voltage, its going to cost more than any savings might be. In fact it might cost almost as much as a new unit would. Not to mention the shipping costs as well.

A unit designed for 50 hz run on 60hz is going to be running faster than it was designed for and its going to affect its life span.

And a Unit designed for 60hz is going to be running slower than it was designed for on 50z effecting how it works as well as its life span.

I agree with Smoothy. You can convert from 220 to 110 volts but you can not change Hertz. Well, not easily. But the Hertz really don't matter. Motors just run a little slower. Clocks and timers might not work correctly.

But I see a potentially bigger problem, these items are not eligible for international shipping. I assume that since your power is 220 volts you are not in USA and also assume that these items, although made in China, are being shipped from USA.
