Trouble with font size in Word
Hello. Wonder if someone can help please. Friend of mine types a word document, font size 12, when he prints it out, comes out about 6/7. No trouble with photo's. He has re-installed Microsoft Word (2000) and printer but no joy. When he highlights the text and increases the font size, it prints OK. Thanks in advance.

Does this happen with all fonts? If it only happens with one font, then its probably a corrupted TTF file and you just need to replace that.

Font
Hi,
Try a different font, using the same size 12.
See if it will print the size it's supposed to.
If it does, then the other font might be corrupted, as another expert suggested.
Just for information:

Hi, Lynn Tan,
Some suggest Ariel 12. You don't want to keep changing your font size when writing. Here is a link with some great information on writing one:

Best of luck.

Nowadays many HR departments like to scan in resumes into a database so they can search for resumes that might match specific criteria. This means they prefer resumes in a standard font with little formatting. Therefore either Arial or Times Roman would be most acceptable to employers.
