Adoption of 4 month old.no homestudy done
Hello, I have a question for a lawyer. We are in Georgia and are seeking to adopt. We have one son through open adoption who is now 5. I have been approached by a birthmother who has a 4 month old and is pregnant again. She would like to place both babies with us. However, we do not have a homestudy done. We had one done 5 years ago with our first, but it's expired. Can anyone tell me what we can do? Also, the BM is homeless and fears social services will take the 4 month old if she does not place soon... Thanks for any info.
