    How do I estimate a pointing job
    I am estimating a exterior clear coating job on an adobe home. It entails staining and sealing to pots,beams, overhang, trim at doors/windows latillas and vigas. How do I go about estimating?

    Figure out your cost of materials... how long it will take in hours... ( if any permits need pulled in that area) the total cost for labor and factor in a profit margin to allow for any cost overruns. And be very specific about what IS covered in the estimate. And also be very specific about any additional work not being covered under the given estimate and would be over and above. Total amount extra to e determined at that time.
