    Linear function modeling problem.
    Gross domestic box office is the amount of money made by movies in the theaters in the United States. In the year 1998, the total gross domestic box office was 6.9 billion. In 2008 the total gross domestic box office was 9.6 billion.

    a; find the linear function in this relationship.
    b; use the function you found in part a) to estimate the gross domestic box office in 2000.
    c; what is the slope of the function from part a) and what does it represent in terms of the gross domestic box office?
    d; In what year will the gross domestic box office surpass 12 billion?

    Any help with this problem will be appreciated :)
