    The engine stopped running while going y60 mile an bhour and when I tried to restartv
    Was going down the highway 60 MPH when it quit running. When I tried to restart engine it will not turn over 2004 ford taurus

    Tow it to a shop... its broke.

    Sounds like a broken timing belt and valves hit the piston. Could also be a seized motor from a connecting rod. Doesn't sound like a cheap fix, sorry.

    Did you run out of gas? When you try to start it, does the starter motor work?
