    Oil lawn mower
    I just bought a Troy built lawn mower new do I need to put oil in it it looks like is has some on dipstick but very hard dipstick to read. Any help would be great

    Yes, you need to put oil in before you start it up the first time. If you do not you will you will ruin it.

    Pull the dip stick out. Wipe it clean. Put it back in (all the way including turn it to lock it in place). Take it back out and look for oil on it.
    Read the instructions Instructions should tell you how much oil to put in.
    Put oil in and then check oil level with dipstick.

    Its always good to check but all I know of come with oil, but no gas
