What is a good rate for freelance typing? I'll be helping a friend of mine write a book which contains his newspaper columns. Thanks! - Jane:eek:

I am assuming that you are speaking about some sort of hourly rate.

I would charge about $25.00 per hour for this service. And, that is around where I live, which is in Rock Island, IL. It does make a difference where you live as far as what you will charge.

You might want to call some people in your area to see what they are charging for a similar service.
