    Some weird kink? How would Tarzan and Jane get and keep ice...they lived in a tropical jungle and didn't have electricity.

    Hint: draw a free body diagram of the block, with force components acting in the direction along the vine and perpendicular to it. From F=ma you can get the acceleration down the incline, then apply one of the equations of motion - there's one that relates acceleration and distance travelled to velocity. Post back with your answer and we'll check it for you.
