    Is sex chat with your boyfriend or your love is gunnah or zina?

    The Islamic Ruling Concerning the Criminal Act of Zina

    In today's English, the word used for a married person who engages in unlawful sexual intercourse is adultery; the single person who engages in sexual intercourse is fornication. Unlike English, Arabic has only one word for both cases – zina.
    Not sure if this is not what you mean,

    It appears that sex chat though is frowned upon in Islam as conduct unbecoming of single men or women.

    I assume you are Muslim/Arab, and not Hindi, please correct if necessary.

    This is gunnah.. not zinah , anyone except husband is gunnah
