    Spylocked in my Taskbar
I've had Spylocked in my computer for about a week now. I've used spyware removal programs to get rid of it, but all it did was get rid of other spyware and viruses that came with Spylocked. I know it's still in my computer because it's in my taskbar in a help icon. When I click on it, it goes to the Spylocked website. Is there any way that I can get rid of it permanently, and for free?

    Of course!
I'll work on a removal tool for you.
Please give me about an hour or 2 to get this done for you.

EDIT: Ok, I've uploaded the removal tool (FIX_SPYLOCK.ZIP > FIX_SPYLOCK.BAT).
Hope that helps, but as the removal tool mentions at the end, you may want to look into Trojan.Zlob, because it often comes with SpyLocker :)

Thank you for making that for me, but it didn't work. All it kept saying was that it couldn't find anything. As for trojan.zlob, while I didn't find anything with zlob, I did find trojans.sbi, a part of Spybot, which I had used to try and get rid of Spylocked.

    MDot,
When it says it cannot find something, that means you weren't infected by that specific file, folder, process or registry key.

So that is actually a good thing. After running my removal tool, SpyLocker is removed, but trojans are still present.

If you want to post a hijackthis log, I'd be glad to see what's wrong still.

    Ok thanks!
Ill list the items that appear to be standing out to me as an issue.
    ********
Please use the following information at your own risk.
    ********
    Possible Unwanted Processes
The number that comes after the process is basically an ID. If the number is '0', then it's something I would remove if it were on my system. If it's '1', then that's something that is about 100% guaranteed malware. However, like I stated above use this information at your own risk.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exe (Only remove this if you don't have an ATI Card or chipset. )
    C:\WINDOWS\arservice.exe 1
    C:\Program Files\ContentWatch\Internet Protection\ContentProtect\cwsvc.exe 0
    C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehRecvr.exe 0
    C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehSched.exe 0
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VS7DEBUG\MDM.EXE ?
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllhost.exe ?
    C:\WINDOWS\ehome\ehtray.exe 0
    C:\Program Files\DISC\DISCover.exe 1
    C:\Program Files\DISC\DiscUpdateMgr.exe 1
    C:\WINDOWS\ARPWRMSG.EXE 0
    C:\HP\KBD\KBD.EXE 0
    C:\Program Files\ltmoh\Ltmoh.exe 1
    C:\Program Files\ContentWatch\Internet Protection\gui\cwcptray.exe 1
    C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe 0
C:\Program Files\GetRight\getright.exe (Not sure about this one... I think it's a download manager)
    C:\Program Files\DISC\DiscGui.exe 1
    C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehmsas.exe 0
    C:\Program Files\DISC\DiscStreamHub.exe 1
    C:\WINDOWS\ALCXMNTR.EXE 0
    C:\Program Files\Metacafe\MetacafeAgent.exe 0

Now for the other entries. I will highlight the good entries green, bad ones red, and potentially unwanted ones orange. Ones that I'm unsure about will stay black.

    EDIT: Finished!

I got rid of most of the red ones, and that's it. Getting rid of anything else would have probably done some serious damage.

I'm not sure what that is... but if you didn't install it, I'd get rid of that too.

Everything else looks ok; However, there is still one thing that you may want to consider removing. SUPERAntiSpyware. I've heard mixed comments about it, but if it's not causing you problems, leave it.
With the K-Lite thing, if you know it is actually a Codec program leave it. I'm just letting you know that Trojan.Zlob invades usually by installing as a fake codec.

If you want to look in ensuring that you are free from Trojan.Zlob,
    There's always good instruction sites.
I found this one while googling, it may help.
    Trojan.Zlob :: Trojan.Zlob Removal Instructions

    Again, good luck!
    Glad I could help.

No trojan.zlob was found, I just installed Veoh yesterday, and I've had K-Lite for a long time, long before I ever heard of Spylocked. I got rid of SuperAntiSpyware. I could try getting rid of Spybot, but when I first used it, I had to reboot the computer. Then I couldn't get to the desktop without putting the computer in safe mode.

    That may help you.
Be sure to scan the removal tools with AV Software first as a precaution.
You can never be too safe :)
