I got one of those bissell steam shot steamers, and it has stopped releasing steam.
My bissell steam shot has stopped releasing steam when I depress the trigger. The unit still heats the water and creats the steam, I just can't get steam to come out the nozzle. I used a paperclip to make sure the nozzle was not clogged, and it's not, so what else could it be?

Call the help line for bissel ? How long have you been using it? I haven't heard bissel name for years, and there are other steam cleaners on the market 'as seen on TV'.

Bissell suggests trying it without using an attachment. If you get steam then it would be a blocked attachment. If you don't then, then try cleaning the nozzle. If you still aren't getting steam, they suggest calling them. My Steam Shotâ„¢ has reduced or no steam. What should I do?

That's a simple machine where you should be able to check it with a meter in a few minutes and know what is causing the problem quickly.
