Is there a way to trace a signature to identify it- I have 5 painting that I can read the signature to identify..

There is no way of tracing a signature to identify it; although art historians have their own way of accomplishing this, it is not public knowledge.

You can post the signature portion of the pictures here to see if someone else can read the signatures.
