Dreaming about my dead husband
My first husband died almost 2 years now. We've lived together as legal husband and wife for only 8 months and 29 days but I always have this dream of him coming back to life. My dreams are always in different situations but its telling me always the same thing and that is my husband is alive. It always makes me sad every time I remember the happy and bad times we had together. But I want to know why I keep dreaming of him. What is his message to me. Please help me, I need an answer

There isn't really an answer to give. Your mind, while you are dreaming, is putting together thoughts and images in a way that we can't understand. It could be that you're still mentally digesting his death and aren't quite over it yet. It could be that you're still searching for an answer and this is the best that your subconscious has to give to you. A sign of unresolved thoughts and feelings.
I don't believe that he wants you to be sad, or would want you to be sad after his death. Remember them as what they were, good times or bad. Experience the memory and not the feelings wrapped around remembering him. If that makes sense. I got divorced from my first wife about seven years ago. I have very different emotions attached to her than you do of your late husband. Regardless I still dream of her on occasion and not in the way that I want to. These things don't go away, more is the pity. |
