    Temperature AND Mercedes
The temperature gauge on my 2004 Mercedes SL600 gets almost to 100C when I drive the car. One service person told me this was normal; another said I should have the car towed into a dealership for repairs. I am confused.

Many cars run between 190-220F (88C-105C roughly).

Is this something new that your car recently started doing? Does the gauge fluctuate drastically?

I would say if you are concerned, maybe a call to a Mercedes dealer and asking about it would be better than taking it there right off.
