    Ammeter problem
    Help required to solve my physics homework problem

    What happens to the reading in ammeter, If 20 ohm resistor is added in parallel with 100 ohm resistor?

    Total resistance is always less than the smallest resistance, so the current in the meter will show more current. Who the heck is in school at this time of the year?

    Summer school? Unless its First quarter electronics theory for trade school, Tech school or college. Which if thats the case...if they can't figure out how to do it....time to drop out now before they rack up a lot more bills that need paid. Everything builds on the basic theory. But that would be electronic theory and not physics.
