    A problem on men and work
    Help required to solve algebra 2 homework

    Three men A, B and C can complete a piece of work in 24, 6 and 12 days respectively. If they all work together how many days it will take to complete the work?

    Think in terms of the rate of work in jobs per day by each worker, and add the rates to get the new total rate of work. For example worker A works at the rate of 1/24 jobs per day. Once you have the total rate then the number of days to finish the job is equal to 1 job divided by the jobs per day rate.
