    We have a poulan pro pb195h46yt riding mower. The blade clutch cable coating has melted and the cable gets red hot. It has melted into the top of the gas tank and the side of the engine cover. There is no electrical connection so I'm confused as to why it's happening...

    Hi,
    It is getting 12V from the battery somewhere to heat it like that.
