    there is a bag.in the bag we have a 1/2 piece,two 1/8 pieces and one another piece that is equivalent to two of the pieces already mentioned.the sum of all the pieces is one whole.what is our missing pieces.

    Add what you know you have and subtract it from the whole. Converting to common denominators is the key.
