    I am a financial advisor. Can I download Quadro Forms and help file for my clients
    I am a financial advisor in the state of Georgia. I am also licensed in South Carolina. My clients lives in South Carolina and are divorced. The divorce settlement states the percentage of how they will divide husbands 401(k) retirement plan. Can I as a financial advisor download the Quadro Forms and help my clients fill them out and help them file for the Quadro instead of them going through an attorney?

    A financial advisor should know that its QDRO (though its pronounced quadro).

    QDRO forms shouldn't be state specific, so anyone can fill them out. When submitted to the pension manager, it may require that a copy of the divorce order be included. I would check with the pension manager about it.
