    What is difference b/w AC and DC MCBs? Can I use AC MCBs in place of DC MCBs?

    Well, AC MCB cannot be always used for DC applications, as there's no 0 Volt crossover as there is in AC power. This makes it more difficult and at times impossible for the AC MCBs to disconnect and "quench" the arc in the breaking of the DC power.
