    1.75 g Zn x (1 mole Zn/65.38 g Zn) x (1 mole Zn/ 1 mole ZnS) =

0.02677 moles ZnS will be produced, which is

    0.02677 moles ZnS x (97.44 g ZnS/ 1 mole ZnS) =

2.608 g ZnS will be produced.

Here, the molecular weight of zinc is 65.38 g/mole. The molecular weight of sulfur is 32.06 g/mole, so the molecular weight of ZnS is
    65.38 g/mole + 32.06 g/mole = 97.44 g/mole.

Thus the mass of zinc sulfide produced is 2.608 g.
