I want to know what kind of dog it is. I found her in my university compound. We decided to keep her at our dormitory. So, we would like to know everything about this kind of dog. Example, Breed, age, behaviour, grooming, nutrition, etc.

You need to start by taking her to the vet for a check-up, vaccinations, probably a de-worming, etc. The vet will also be able to give you an approximate age. We can't tell you that from a picture. The vet can check to see if she might be a lost pet by checking for a microchip.

She looks like a terrier mix, but looks can be deceiving. She looks small, but it may be the angle of the picture. How big is she? If she has been mal-nourished, then her coat may be very unhealthy and more brittle giving her a more wire-haired appearance than she would have if healthy.

She is probably a mutt and her behavior will be all her own. Since you do not know her past, be ready for just about anything. Do not let her get away with any behaviors that you don't want such as begging, door-dashing, jumping up on people, etc. Make certain everyone is on the same page about commands and treats. Use positive reinforcement for good behavior. Everyone works on obedience training.

Make certain that she is taken outside very frequently until you know she is house-trained and she remembers where the bathroom is. If she has an accident, take her outside immediately. Clean it up with little fuss and without yelling at her. If you catch her in the act, give her a stern 'no' and get her outside. Praise her like everything when she goes outside. Clean up any mess with as little fuss and emotion as possible. She won't understand if you yell at her or use any punishments for going potty indoors. She will think you are yelling at her for peeing instead of for where she is peeing. This can lead to a dog hiding to potty instead of letting you know she needs to go.

    She is a cutie.
