Malnutrition and nausea... I need help!
I'm 15 and 5'8. I've been having major stomach issues for the past 6 months. I got pretty bad food poisoning 6 months ago and got over it and was eating fine again. Until I ate some really greasy pizza and it made me feel like I was going to throw up again but it didn't. From then on everything I ate made me nauseated.
I went to the doctor and he put me on prevacid and it worked really well up until recently it stopped. Now I feel nauseated every time I eat and it's been going on for 3 months now. I've been back to the doctor twice since and he prescribed me more prevacid but I tried to take it and I was still nauseous and had this horrible choking feeling. The 3rd time I went back he put me on anxiety medicine and he did a full panel blood test and I don't have any allergies or celiac or thyroid issues. I was drinking Aloe Vera juice and it helped for a while but stopped and I tried eating slower. I have been experiencing bad acid reflux, nausea, odd stomach pains, anxiety, mild headaches,& dizziness.
I've basically stopped eating now because I'm so tired of the problems. I used to weigh 120 lbs and now weigh about 105. All I do is lay around and feel super tired all the time. I know it's not good to be starving myself and it freaks me out to see my hip bones poking out really bad. I don't want to have to go to the hospital because they'll force feed me. I want to eat a lot of food so it's not a eating disorder is just more comfortable not eating than eating anymore. I cry about it everyday because I feel like I'm dying and I dread waking up every morning. It's making me so depressed. I don't know what to do anymore. Please help?

Perhaps it is what you are eating, have you tried, more bland, non spicy foods, nothing but fresh foods, no canned or preserved foods.

Yeah all I eat now is rice, a little bread, and crackers. I've given up a lot of processed foods. I'm getting no nutritional value at all. I try to get some protein but it's really hard.

The rice is protein, also any kind of beans. Make yourself some soup using beans and rice, tomatoes, base with chicken broth. If you really want to get over your hurdle, then use your imagination and get cracking, or quite basically, put yourself in an early grave.
You came here for help, now listen to all the advice and you will get much of that.
I take care of people with poor nutrition, elderly, who need help; they deal with it and get better. Visit nutrition sites on google, learn what will help you, be proactive about your own health.
If you are only l5, then where are your parents in all of this dietary delima??

Don't forget your veggies and fruit, spinach, and a good dose of fresh air and exercise.

How about seeing a different doctor? A visit with a specialist may be the next step.

I'm trying I'm just really scared because throwing up and feeling sick are some of like my biggest fears and I know what starving myself is doing but I'm open to any advice or things to try. My parents have been very supportive up until recently they just get mad because they think I'm doing it on purpose.

I just offered advice on what to try. I also said be proactive, visit Google and find nutritional advice. Go on board with a nutritionist recommended by your doctor.
Are you doing it for attention ?

No, I'm not. I'm not the attention seeking type I just don't know what to do anymore and it's made me really depressed because I feel like things are never going to get better. I'm going to take your advice and try to start eating again and if I can get that far then I'll start trying to do healthier changes and stuff because I did have a really poor diet even when I could eat all I ate was processed foods and sweets.

sav, I understand what you are going through. When I have been extremely ill, I tend to not want to eat because I hate nausea and throwing up. You know you need to eat but the mind is afraid. You are going to have to convince your mind that it is okay to eat.
It is going to take small steps. Small bites and small portions as you get back to being able to eat. Don't try to eat a full meal or large amount all at once.
Try branching out from what you are currently eating. Add some vegetables to the rice. Try thin slices of chicken on the crackers.
Talk to your parents and doctor about diets designed for recovering anorexics. I am not saying you are anorexic, but that is what your body is going through.
Good luck.

Thank you and I will definitely try this and try eating better over all and I'm going to eat small meals and not over do things.

Are you able to drink without it making you feel nauseated? In addition to the suggestions you have received already, perhaps trying some of the nutrition drinks, such as Ensure, would be helpful from a nutrition standpoint until you gradually regain a more varied solid diet.

My dad bought me some protein shakes and I'm going to try them.

Have you had an ultrasound on your gallbladder? This sounds as though it may possibly be gallstones.

I was wondering if that could be it. I've done SSOOOO much research and there is so much it could be but I'll keep that in mind. Thank you.

Another area to look at: celiac disease.
There's a new test from Quest for celiac disease that doesn't require biopsy of the intestine.

So tell me why you have been tested for some things, but not others, but not under a doctors supervision as far as dietary needs? Seems a needless way of scaring yourself. We don't have your medical history but your physician does, and more a knowledge so he would guide you through this process of good health.
Have you seen a doctor, or not, and what has he said about your situation/condition? Searching symptoms is a hit or miss proposition, and not at all a good way to get down to the truth of the matter.

I've been to the doctor and first visit since
This started, he prescribed me prevacid. The second visit he prescribed it again but for a longer period. This past visit he prescribed me anxiety medicine to see if maybe that was a problem because the prevacid no longer works and even made my condition worse. In the past visit he also did a blood test to check for the celiac and thyroid, they did what's called a full panel. I don't have any of that. He hasn't talked with me about diet change or anything like that.
He is just using process of elimination because it's such a broad diagnosis.

Let's go back to the 'really bad food poisoning.' Did you see your doctor? What was the treatment, if any? What kind of poisoning was it? What were the symptoms?
