Is this child support ordered by a court? How old are the children now? Those two thing make a huge difference. I'm going to guess it was ordered by a court because you are asking about bankruptcy. So, no. Child support is not something you can file bankruptcy on. Depending on how old the kids are and if this is a current order or left arrears there might be other options. I will need to know a little more a little more before going on so I don't write a novel trying to explain all different situations.
