My husband and I file our taxes jointly and we have 3 W2 forms a piece. Do you charge to file taxes per W2 form separately or as a whole and if so how much?

You add together all wages from all W2's and report as one number on your joint return. Same with tax withholding amounts.

**EDIT -Upon rereading this I realize I misread your question - I thought you were asking if you should file multiple tax returns if you have multiple W2's. Sorry for any confusion.

Whom are you asking? This is a Q&A site that that offers free answers to questions. We do have some tax experts here that do tax returns on a fee basis. Generally tax preparers charge for the number of forms needed to file your return, not necessarily per W2.

    Scott has it correct.

While six W-2s are somewhat unusual, it is NOT unprecedented, and most preparers do NOT charge extra for extra W-2s.
